Visiting Nantucket Lightship/LV-112

Nantucket/LV-112 will be undergoing restoration for the next 2–3 years. During this time period, the ship is open to the general public for tours, educational programs and special events on a limited basis. We look forward to your visit.

Location and Directions
Nantucket/LV-112 is berthed at the Boston Harbor Shipyard & Marina, 256 Marginal St., East Boston, MA, directions. There is free parking at the shipyard/marina. Water taxi: Stop #68, view map of water taxi. MBTA subway: take Blue Line to Maverick Station, walk to shipyard/marina (approx. 15 minutes), view walking route.

Our hours
Nantucket Lightship/LV-112, is open for the season on Saturdays, 10am –4pm, from the last Saturday in April through the last Saturday in October. However, Individual and group tours also can be arranged by appointment throughout the year on other days.

In August, we will be holding our annual celebration of National Lighthouse Day, when we activate LV-112’s historic main light beacon and its powerful foghorn. More information about this historic event will be forthcoming.

Admission
We request an $8 donation per person. Children under age 5 are free. Nantucket/LV-112 is not handicap accessible.
