LV-112 Video

The former owners of LV-112, Lightship Nantucket, Inc. (LNI), of Portland, Maine, produced this video presentation (edited to suit our website format) in 1992. LNI, created a series of comprehensive educational programs for students that are demonstrated in this video. The United States Lightship Museum’s goal is to preserve LV-112 and reinstate educational programs for students and participants, inclusive of all ages and backgrounds, similar to the former LNI format. In addition, to the LNI segment, is video footage from a WCSH-TV News broadcast, produced on Nantucket Lightship / LV-112, in 1987.

We would like to thank Don Yeskoo from Maritime Maine for providing the LNI video to us. Don was previously on the Board of Directors of LNI. We also want to compliment Mr. Yeskoo, the former participants and volunteers of LNI for their tireless efforts, hard work and passionate dedication for helping to preserve Nantucket Lightship / LV-112’s legacy and helping to educate  the public.
